The Purse/Bag Problem in NYC!

Having just moved moved back to the city after years of being away I would like to comment on the purse/bag situation in NYC. By the way I write like an 8th grader...well maybe a 10th grader at best...so do not expect any life changing posts here...ok where was I??? Oh yeah...here goes... im not sure if I should buy or even have an authentic designer purse in this city because EVERY women on the subway has a D&G, Coach, Prada, Dooney and Burke and the one and only Louis Vuitton PURSE. And we know why...because they are all fake (not the women the purses). Now some might be real (again the purses) but who cares now that ever women on the subway...including the 14 yr old coming home from school with her D&G backpack...has a designer bag. What good does it do me NOW to buy that expensive Coach purse to flaunt around town if most people are going to think it's fake... And the reason people will think it's fake???...is because EVERY WOMEN HAS ONE! Ok NOW I sound like a superficial person and I am...and I use the word NOW a lot. So NOW im going to buy that Coach purse I have always wanted and im going to pass out business cards that say...This Purse is an Authentic Coach Purse bought in a Coach Store and not in Chinatown or from some guy whispering to me on the street corner..."I um got designer purses here"...so yes my purse is real and I had to save up for it and that was hard because im not good a saving because im an actress who has to go to auditions that are already precast so its hard to get a payed acting job in NYC! P.S. Please dont steal it!

It will be a very long business card...but who cares I have a real Coach Bag and NOW they all know! Take that Fakers!

More Stars in NYC and Dylan McDermott is stalking me!

Ok so Dylan McDermott is totally following me. I worked with him in LA on his show "Big Shots" last year and (I thought he was soooo handsome but a little to skinny in the legs) that must have been when he first noticed me. So cut to this year and im on the streets of NYC waiting to go into "The West Bank Cafe" (because the stars eat where I eat) and who comes and stands right next to me...Maura Tierney from ER and then...cue scary music... TADA like magic Dylan walks right next to me and starts talking to Maura...but of course he is staring at me! By the way he smokes...that sucks for him and I for when we makeout...later...in my fantasy or his...im not sure. So he stands there forever and with me and Maura and my friend Adam (staring at me off and on...Dylan not Adam)...until we finally go in and then they go in of course following me in and then the next day in Union Square (less than 24 hours) im walking down the street and tada who is walking along beside me? Dylan! Oh he is sooo cute...and not smoking this time. Yeah! So we follow him because he is stalking me and I thought I would help him by following him...im just that way. So thats that but im sure he is still around I just cant see him...and he is doing a play in NYC so he is here for that as well. Then I see Clinton Kelly from "What Not To Wear" and I look like crap (I had been up the night before having fun)! But I still talk to him and he is very very sweet. He does not seem to be stalking me...which is good for him because Dylan might get upset and I dont need that right now. Then Adam and I see Carly Simon...not to exciting as she is a little bit worn! The we see "Legally Blonde" on broadway and meet most of the cast afterwards. Great Great Funny show! Hurry to see it as it closes Oct 16th. I went to Broadway on Broadway and then to the Broadway Flea Market and saw tons of Broadway stars...what a fun 2 days that was! Love the confetti parade after Broadway on Broadway. And to cap it all off I met my official Idol of Broadway...no not Dylan...Beth Leavel. We talk for a little bit and she was the nicest lady in the world...I told her I was the Beth Leavel of non-equity...she seemed to not mind...SECURITY! I cant believe I met her and hugged her and got a picture and autograph...wow Dylan would have been so mad...hope he was not watching. And then I almost got to sit next to Tom and Suri Cruise at "The Bubble Show" (my friend works there and would have sat me next to them) but I did not go as I had just seen the show a few days before and I did not want to make Dylan mad...I do worry about my stalkers. But I wish he would eat a sandwich so he could keep up with me...as I said he's a little skinny in the legs! Well check back in and see if more sightings of stars or Dylan happen again soon! Living in NYC!

Hi all im finally back and living in NYC. I am subletting in Washington Heights and I like living in "The Heights" as many of my actor friends live right near by and I love taking the A as it is an express train. I have been temping and am getting into catering soon so I can have my days off to audition. Speaking of auditions I did audition for "The Drowsy Chaperone" national tour and was 1st runner up (so I have no crown or sash) for the Drowsy herself. They went with someone they knew and so I did very well for just moving into town and not being know. But I am going to work on that and start getting my name out there. I also met
Beth Leavel the original Drowsy and she was a SWEETHEART...loved her! I will be auditioning this coming Monday for a few shows. I miss not driving and I am finally able to sleep thru the night without being woken up by horns or by loud ass trucks or loud ass people. Having said that I really am enjoying the city more than I ever have before and am happy to be here. Meeting up with friends and seeing shows and well just walking thru the city is amazing and I am happy to be able to have a chance to come to NYC and live out the dream of being an actress. Its hard sometimes but I just keep thinking how lucky I am to be living in NYC when I know so many other people would love to be here trying their hand at this crazy acting biz. I do miss California and in the far away future will be moving back there to never leave again! But for now my future is here and my plans are to get an agent, work with my new vocal coach, take classes and of course AUDITION! Stay tuned for more of me talking about myself! No really!
