Dreams do come true!

Just arrived back in Naples to start rehearsals for "Dames At Sea" I play Mona Kent. While in Tampa this past Tuesday I was able to live out a dream of mine. Now do not laugh...if you know me well you will know I love Michelle Kwan. I have watch her career now for 12yrs. I have seen her skate in ice shows but never in a competition. Well I did on Tuesday and she won. Long story short I had fourth row seats and she was perfect, beautiful and I was in heaven. At the end I was in the front row with her skating by slapping all our hands. And yes she looked right at me...lol. Soon one of my other dreams will be coming true...to tap dance in a show and I even have a tap solo in Dames (have been taking tap lessons now for 2 months). What can I say some of my dreams are simple but hey reachable. I am still waiting to hear back from my audition at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. This summer I will be working with Kidz Act again. Teaching kids acting and improv. Still hoping to move to LA next year if no theatre gigs come along. I love LA...weather, hiking, waves at the beach so I can learn to surf (no waves in Florida), great friends, and yes I will try my hand ...be it an old hand...at TV/Movies.

Orlando Auditions

Saturday and Sunday I was in Orlando all day for UCF auditions for "Wizard of Oz" and a very funny musical called "Six Women With Brain Death". I had a great experience and everyone involed was very nice. I received a callback for each show. I would be happy to be in either show. I was calledback for the Wicked Witch in Oz....great part and in the other show there a 6 equally great women roles in which I would take any of the roles. So as I was saying in my other post about learning to enjoy auditions...well I did at this one and I feel I did a good job and both directors seemed to like me. So I will keep you informed on what happens...I am just happy I did a good job and did not let my nerves get the best of me....but I do want a part...lol.
