Cabaret news and more!

Hi all here is the information for my cabaret "These Shoes Were Made For Walking". I will be performing at the Norris Center in downtown Naples, Fl on April 27th and 28th at 8pm. I also have a 3 page article and great picture in the popular N (for Naples) magazine. My contract at the Naples Dinner Theatre ends on April 22nd and after my cabaret I will be moving back to Tampa and I either moving to LA end of the year or going back to NYC for auditions in fall of 2007. I just can't seem to get the theatre bug out of my system. I know I can do theatre in LA but LA is more a TV/Movie town. I have a place to stay in Cali and since I was a kid I have always wanted to live there...so stay tuned and we will see what happens. Also right after my cabaret I am off to Phoenix, AZ to visit my daughter Brandy as she lives there now. I have never been there. I also get to meet her boyfriend Asa. I am so excited about seeing my baby and finally relaxing...I have been performing for 8 months straight now and this lady is tired. Hairspray Tour News

Darn this musical called "Showboat"! Networks called a few weeks back to ask me and if I was available for replacement callbacks in NY for Velma in the "Hairspray" tour. I am doing 11 shows a week so I could not make it!!! It sounded like they were only calling a handful of people in and I was going to be given a workshop the day before by the casting agent before I went in front of the big wigs! grrrrrr....there was no way I could make it to NY and back......grrrrr. I am so perfect for Velma! Oh well I guess it all happened for a reason! In fact the whole time I have been here I have not been able to go to one audition because I perform in a show everyday...I am very happy to be working but now I will not be able to perform this summer because I have missed all the auditions. I am not even done here till end of April. But thats how it goes. Good news is I have met some wonderful, fun and amazing people while I have been here for 9 months. I will missssss them very much. I will blog more on this later. My cabaret "These Shoes Were Made For Talking" is coming along great and everything is just falling into place. I am getting tons of help from people and I am so very lucky to have these creative, sweet people in my life. THANK YOU ALL!
