New Headshots

Tomorrow im getting my new headshots done. Ill put them up whenever i get them. Could take awhile since I will be taking a vacation to Florida from August 4th - the 17th. YEAH! I need to get out of the city for awhile. Everytime i leave and then comeback to NYC it really helps me to feel refreshed and ready to tackle this crazy city and auditions. Which will be starting up again in Sept. With my new headshots and new Equity card in hand I shall go forth and kick some butt. Watch my tweet and FB for updates of my Florida trip. Lots of fun and sun to be had! xoxox Talk at ya later!

The Harlem Heckler!

I just saw and heard this guy heckling some movers...just regular guys moving peoples things into their apt. So this random guy walks by them and as he keeps walking he's yelling and I mean loud..."hey I watch Americas funniest videos so is there any scratches on that stuff...you ding an edge up...you drop a few things"...then as he is still walking away he yells over his shoulder..."hand truck.....dolly....no wait bubble wrap"...and he is just laughing his ass off. Well I think his efforts to be funny were all wasted because I'm pretty sure the movers could not speak english...lol...now I'm off to watch a softball game in çentral park...maybe MR. Heckler will be there.

PS...I wrote this on Sunday but did not post it till today!

Stars in NYC...the good the bad and the snotty

Rainn Wilson from "The Office" just came up to my reception area today (at my temp job) and asked for Christine...and I said whats her last name and he did not know. I said i needed her last name because there are 800 people working here and he was sorta snotty and he called her and she came down...and then as he walked by with her he took of his sunglasses and said to me "Thats Christine" and I said to myself "Ass"! I also met Steve Carell and Tina Fey a few weeks ago and they are very sweet and cute as pie so that makes it all better!

The guy downstairs (bad language alert)

So i live in Harlem right now (till September) and it has provided me with many a great story. I will start with the guy a few floors down from me. At least once a day...but usually more than once we hear this guy from a window or 2 below us yelling FUCK...then about 10 seconds later he yells FUCK YOU...then another FUCK YOU again about 5 seconds later...then usually another kind of Fuck you sentence and then alls quiet. Like i said this is at least once a day or more. Its actually pretty funny. But i really want to know why he is so pissed off everyday....i guess it could be sports as it is on everyday...or he hates his dog...we never hear anyone else yelling back at him. By the way he is really angry when he does yell his Fucks....i have no idea how he keeps from going hoarse so i assume he is not an actor because we want to save our voices. One thing i know im not going down to ask him "Hey whats up?". Check back for more fun Harlem stories...i have a few. By the way I do like where im at as I have 2 express trains and i can get to midtown in less than 10 minutes. Bye for now!

NYC Updates

Hi there...im back. Sorry i have been away so long but i do not have a computer right now. But i am able to blog on my new G1 phone. I love this phone from T-Mobile. Lets see I just finished a show at Westchester Broadway Theatre in June and worked with some very talented actors from broadway. I am a proud member of Actors Equity now. I was offered a few summer acting gigs (before i was equity) but decided to not take them as i will make more money temping. I needed to save up for new headshots and lessons so i will be ready for the equity auditions this fall. I did have some great callbacks for big name directors (for now i have decided to keep names and maybe some auditions private as I feel it could jinx them) these past few months. I will be taking a little visit to Florida in August and I cant wait. I am temping at a great place right now and am hanging out with friends and loving NYC! Well it is really hot here so sometimes walking around in this heat gets to me and i do feel a little crazyyy!!!! Check back soon as I will be blogging about all the crazy people (not myself) and things I see and hear and do in the city!

The Purse/Bag Problem in NYC!

Having just moved moved back to the city after years of being away I would like to comment on the purse/bag situation in NYC. By the way I write like an 8th grader...well maybe a 10th grader at best...so do not expect any life changing posts here...ok where was I??? Oh yeah...here goes... im not sure if I should buy or even have an authentic designer purse in this city because EVERY women on the subway has a D&G, Coach, Prada, Dooney and Burke and the one and only Louis Vuitton PURSE. And we know why...because they are all fake (not the women the purses). Now some might be real (again the purses) but who cares now that ever women on the subway...including the 14 yr old coming home from school with her D&G backpack...has a designer bag. What good does it do me NOW to buy that expensive Coach purse to flaunt around town if most people are going to think it's fake... And the reason people will think it's fake???...is because EVERY WOMEN HAS ONE! Ok NOW I sound like a superficial person and I am...and I use the word NOW a lot. So NOW im going to buy that Coach purse I have always wanted and im going to pass out business cards that say...This Purse is an Authentic Coach Purse bought in a Coach Store and not in Chinatown or from some guy whispering to me on the street corner..."I um got designer purses here"...so yes my purse is real and I had to save up for it and that was hard because im not good a saving because im an actress who has to go to auditions that are already precast so its hard to get a payed acting job in NYC! P.S. Please dont steal it!

It will be a very long business card...but who cares I have a real Coach Bag and NOW they all know! Take that Fakers!

And scene!
