Auditions and Tapping News!

Im back! "Dames at Sea" was a success. I tapped my way thru it. I have no idea how I looked but I smiled so much I dont think to many people were looking at my feet. My friends and family said I looked fine so thats all that matters...plus I had a ball. I was very nervous the first few shows but after that I started to enjoy it and just had fun with it. On May 16th I took a quick trip to NYC for a national tour audition. It was for "Mame". I readand sang mostly for Vera (really want that part) and a little for Mame. It went very well and I received a callback that night and they needed me to come back that Wed. but I had 2 shows in Fl. so I hope I am still in the running. I wont know anything for a couple of weeks. They really seemed to like me and I got thru it with only 3 hours of sleep so I was happy. I also auditioned for NETworks while I was there. I got a callback from them also but could not make it as it was on Wed. as well but they liked me and gave me sides and said they would call when they decided to recast the role. My first two auditions in NYC and I received two callbacks what more could I have asked for. I also met up with some friends and had as much fun as I could have in 24 hours. As for what I am up to next...I am taking a few weeks off till June 6th then I start working for Kidz Act. I will be teaching there until the end of July. Then in Sept. I start rehearsals for "Two by Two" in which I play Leah. In August I will be traveling to LA, Portland, Or and possibly NYC for a vacation.
